Well, Portland was all that I hoped it would be. I had an awesome time. My new baby cousin is so cute. I basically was having to relive my childhood days, because my mom was constantly telling stories about me as a baby. Some were fine, but some were just like, ok I don't need to know this hahaha. The day we got there we had burritos for lunch, burritos for dinner, and breakfast burritos the next day haha. My cousin was being mean to me all weekend, and taking advantage of my ignorance of Portland. It was funny, but I learned not to believe anything he told me. Powells Bookstore was soo amazing. I had never seen that many books in my entire life. I could have spent the entire day there. Saturday. Now that was a good day. I got to see Colin and hang out for like 9 hours. How awesome is that. Chinese Gardens are so cool and tranquil. Of course tire swings are awesome as well, but I think exploring the woods in the rain is probably as good as it gets. I was going to get hypothermia, but I decided not to cause that would have been awkward haha. What did we do after that? Oh well of course we sang Aladdin songs, and Colin played Beethoven's 3rd piano concerto. I thought he did wonderful, but he thought he sucked. We had dinner and watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, because Colin had never seen it. That child is seriously movie deprived (Colin, you are movie deprived). We also got a pomegranate because I'd never had one. Then we went home. Of course I'm leaving out details, but that's the short, to the point version. Thanks for a great time Colin! I'll miss you and I'll be coming again in January!
