Where in the World am I Working this Summer
So, I finally got hired... at a lot of places actually. I've been working at Rampage for the past week. Macy's never called me back, so won't be working/shopping there anytime soon. Yes, I'm bitter. Anyway, Rampage is cool. I love the people there but they don't pay jack. Luckily, I have been hired as a cashier at Nordstrom. This is great for several reasons:
- It's Nordstrom. That's like high class.
- They are gonna pay me $9.85 an hour. *Does money/happy dance*
- I get an employee discount on JUICY purses! *Does fashion/happy dance*
So I'm like completely stoked. The only draw back so far is that they have me working 52 over the course of eight days. Yeah, I'll be working anywhere from seven to ten hours for a week and a half. We're gonna have to work on this. I didn't sign up to work full time. I'll just have to let my supervisor know that I can't work ten hours a day six days a week. It's not gonna happen. The happy side affect of working so much? I'll be almost five hundred dollars richer by the middle of the week after next.
