My deepest apologies for not updating for a long long time. I didn't think anyone read my blog ^^;; I'll try to summarize all I can since my cousin moved in! Here I go!
My cousin's computer is a monster...so I've been playing Warcraft 3 a lot. Because of this, I haven't played D2 with fuzz or Jub for a while now. The basement is great, it's nice and cool, but it gets cold in the morning and I wake up shivering. So now I gotta have two blankets @_@ Living in the basement gives me plenty of space to run around so I'm free :D BTW, my cousin eats a lot :{ He's 6'3 and skinny...I wish I were that tall. My parents have been wanting me to be more like him because he can still speak Cantonese pretty well and they've been pretty mad that I've lost it over the years. Oh well, what can ya do?
School has started and I'm in high school again. My grades weren't good enough to get into university so I have to boost my average. I'm taking Philosophy, Law and Sociology, they all seem pretty interesting. Even though I only need one course to boost my average, I might just stay in all three and see what I can learn. My law teacher is a hoot, he's one of those really funny old guys that acts young, he makes law fun. My philosophy teacher's not so bad either, he cracks a lot of jokes so it's not boring at all (btw he looks so much like Val Venis it's scary haha). My sociology teacher is really young, she's 25 and looks like a student. The first day she walked in with a back pack and I would've never guessed she was the teacher. I have three classes in the morning and I'm out of there by 1 o'clock! Does that rock or what?!
Yesterday, I got a job! I'm working at Silver City (movie theatre) where one of my friends told me about some job opennings, so I dove in a got the job on the spot. Was kinda funny cuz the guy that was interviewing me had the worst lisp ever...I was conecentrating so hard on what he was saying it was hilarious :D An up side to working there is that I get to see free movies! w00t! I gotta give them my bank info and I can start work by about next week.
A few days before the whole job thing, my mom got a phone call from England. I knew I had an uncle there, but wasn't sure how many kids he had. Next thing I knew my mom puts me on the phone to talk to a cousin I don't remember at all, but met way back in 1989...what was I? 6?! It was nice to find out that I had more cousins my age, but they lived all the way in England @_@ I thought it was an interesting idea to show them my webcame page that TzeN helped me put together so they could at least see what I looked like now since they didn't have any recent pictures. They said I've definately grown and that they'd like to see more of our family here in Canada. At the time I showed them, they didnt' have a webcam. My uncle was intrigued and went out the next day to buy one for his kids. About every other day now we seem to have some video conference with our families...lol. God I love British accents...rofl
The last couple of days have been pretty hot. Walking home from school has been hell. I walked to the bank, back to my house, back to the bank, and back home again. Times like this I wish I had a car :( At about 9 earlier this evening my cousin Kit stopped by and said he needed me for something. He wouldn't tell me what, but he just wanted me to go with him. I was reluctant to, but he said he'd give me 20 bucks, so I went. We drove all the way to Guelph and back (about 2 hours) all for an AC adaptor he was picking up for his laptop. It was interesting because on the way there, his girlfriend and him were talking about what I could do after high school and what my options were. They got into a big debate as if I were their son, but I have some pretty good ideas on what I'd like to get into. One being writing (even though I may not be that articulate or even good at it), another being photography, I've seen the things TzeN has done and I'm wowed because he's only been doing it for about 2 years (maybe less?). So I made 20 bucks today and got some ideas on what I want to do with my life, SCORE!
That's about it I think. Oh! I'm still trying to learn to play To Zanarkand, I got the first 3 quarters of the first page down (which isn't much), just gotta learn more! I told Mai my life was uneventful since the last update. I didn't think I'd have this much to talk about @_@
