yesterday I had a quite fun day. I woke up at 3 AM (my sleeping schedule has been very weird. I finally finished the book "On life and death" written by aperson my mom knew from college. I really enjoyed this book. This guy (Udi) made a movie about his mom's life during the holocaust and through many different sources he was able to find what happened to the person (Urik) that his mom loved. I also identified with him in many ways when he described his early childhood (playing soccer, and various other israeli games at elementary school, and seeing peopel getting made fun of israeli style).
I think all that stuff is behind me now, but its still nice to think about it once in a while. Even soccer. I can still enjoy, play and watch (nothing will stop me from playin soccer for fun); but my acl injury pretty much ended any hope for me to become a pro soccer playa. At least now I can focus more on school and my social life.
Anyways, I saw my friend Mark (comp sci geek) from UCSB. He is a nice and funny guy though. I picked him up from stanford and we went to university street to mexican restuarant, talked about fun times from fall quarter, school stuff, and the crazy roomates we had. Too bad he'll be in berkely fall semester (I'll miss the funny conversations I had with him). Afterwards we walked at the stanford campus (nice buildings).
I am getting ready for europe and israel. started packing. not gonna miss the US too much. Italy will surely be fun; and israel is a given. I feel like i havent been there so loooong. see my family and friends. I am excited. soon ill be there. (tel aviv get ready for me!)
