Colorful voices
elle_oo says she associates music with people. Almost like assigning tones to contacts in one's phonebook, she says. That made me think. What do I associate people with? What do I feel when I talk to certain people; when I hear their voice? Well, I have the answer. I associate colors with people. Today, I thought about some of my favorite people on this planet, who I often talk to and figured out what colors and emotions they evoke in me when I hear them speak.
Chaitali: Emerald green. Soothing like a gentle-flowing stream. Harmonious.
Rutuja: Sunshine yellow. Optimistic. Sometimes white. Pure. Innocent.
Laxmi: Purple. Royal. Sometimes powder blue. Light and soothing.
Sid: Red. Vibrant. Inspiring. Energetic.
Kanchan: Turquoise. Oceanic. Breezy. Sometimes pink. Very feminine.
Natasha: Sunshine yellow. Bouncy. Energetic. Sometimes white. Pure. Innocent.
Mala: Silver with navy blue. Sophisticated. Sometimes violet. Serene.
Puja: Sunshine yellow. Bouncy. Energetic.
Shobhita: Beige. Calm. Balanced.
David: White. Pure. Transparent.
Hmm, I think I've got almost every color of the rainbow in my life. :-)
