I FINALLY found lyrics that weren't hideously specific to our characters. ;-)

Everything is gone.

He wakes up in a place that isn't a place with a woman wearing someone else's skin and everything is gone, all he worked for -- just. like. that.

She says she'll help him, and he can see she thinks she has (or he could he could once where is it where is it); she makes him breakfast and smiles at him --

When it's over he cleans up the broken pieces and pulls that power to him, imagining what he could make, oh--who he could be, and when they believe you're someone they love anything is possible --

Except that it doesn't work. It doesn't work and he's screaming -- but there, there out of all the nothing he remembers, there is a door, and behind it so many rooms and so many people, all with their little secrets, their little talents.

All of them so special.

He's lost everything, but he still has one thing: he knows exactly what he wants. They're the same height and the other is stronger, maybe, but he thinks he remembers I can trust you, you're like meExcept that he's not. Not anymore. Not yet
