So as everyone knows Courtney and i have talked about getting married sooner or later. The plan was to take my tax refund and get a ring and go from there. OR at least she thought that was the plan. In secret ive been saving up for about a year now. More money then ive prob ever saved in my life im pretty proud of myself for not spending it elsewhere. So i talked to her dad and asked for her hand and all that hes a cool guy so it wasnt as bad as i thought it was gona be. Then told her i was going to atlanta to help her dad out in his companies showroom for a trade show. In reality i was going to atlanta to go to the jewelers using her dads buyers license for his company to buy anything at cost. So i got a normaly super expensive blingin ass platinum ring with a fat rock for like 1/4 the price. This is where everything gets crazy. Two weeks later i clame to be stressed and need a vacation. So i recomend a weekend trip to new orleans sense its only three hours away. This takes place within the last liek 30 hours or so. We go to new orleans i get a pimpin ass suite. She doesnt suspect a thing. We go to a blingin, set price, super nice expensive as hell dinner. Still doesnt suspect a thing. Take a nice carriage ride through the french quarter. Still goin good. When the carriage stops next to the water i bust out the ring and ask her the question. Of course she says yes. This is where i get surprised. We go celebrate. Its new orleans so of course that means lots of drinking and she says lets get married tomorow..... Being drunk i say sure thinking its all fun drunk talk. We stay out most of the night then head back to the room and pass out. The next day she wakes me up glowin and im like whats up shes like im serious lets go do it. It just felt right so i was like hell ya. We went and took care of a couple things i didnt even know you had to do to get a marriage license then hit up city hall to get the license. A few hours later we are mr and mrs donald r paek. Ive never been happier in my life. Now onto makin babies and startin a family up in this mother fucker. peace
