It's interesting- he did it again yesterday when he was crying
and Jeff was holding him..
Myles was looking towards the room I was in when he babbled it..
Jeff then brought him in and he babbled "Ma!"..
Anyways..
I've learned a few things..
1.Buy a boob pump if you're nursing, so you don't lose your shit and other
people can feed him.. (I have a Medela)..
2.Let people help you.
3.You have to expose the baby to some dust and germs (so they don't get allergies and it boosts the immunity).
4.Find a pediatrician who only gives 2 vaccinations at the same time (we are so lucky about this, we have a really good doctor)..
5.Get a boob pump! Really! Make hubby feed him!
6.You know you can mix boob milk with formula directly? As per our doctor..
7.Mylicon for gas works..
8.Dr. Brown's bottles are a real help.. His colic is virtually gone!
9.If you can't nurse, don't beat yourself up.. Some babies suck down milk like there's no tomorrow and the boob is not fast enough for them (like my sweet, plump Myles)..
Pump your milk and you can save it for a few hours without refrigerating for the next meal..
Sometimes Myles takes boob or bottle- depends on his mood..
10.Midwives rock!! I wouldn't have done it any other way..
11.Buy a few newborn clothes, but you don't really need them.. Aim for 3-6 months and 6-9 months. H & M has really cute baby clothes..
