Hearty bento yummy goodness

Whoooo hooo, I got a new digital camera for Valentine's day, Olympus 710 Stylus courtesy of my hubs. So I'll get a chance to work on my photographing skills; hopefully I'll get better. Now I won't have any excuse for poor quality pictures. :D

Hubs hearty bento: Udon noodles with black bean garlic sauce with stir-fried pork sausage, onions, crimini mushrooms, green bell peppers, carrots garnished with parsley, chopped green onions, thinly sliced baby carrots and two crinkle cut heart-shaped green bell peppers. On the side mini Dr. Pepper soda can and Jolly Time Blastobutter mini size bag of popcorn for snack.

My hearty bento meal: Small round container on the left holds Chinese rice crackers; on the right, top tier holds stir-fried brown rice with exact same ingredients as hubs udon noodles except the sauces used for brown rice are soy sauce, oyster sauce & sesame oil and garnished with green onions. Bottom tier holds baby carrots on hearts cupcake sheet cups and on the righthand side sliced lightly seasoned bacon wrapped turkey medalion with parsley garnish and crinkle heart-shaped green bell pepper.

I'm so looking forward to lunch tomorrow! :D It's so lovely to know that when lunchtime comes, I don't have to worry about having to get in the kitchen to whip something up; it's already done!! Whooo hoo!!
