In-Game Character Information
Name: Juri Arisugawa
Series: Revolutionary Girl Utena
Age: 17

Personality: A few words can describe Juri. She is said to be a highly respected person among her peers if only for her very noble personality. To put it bluntly she's grand and impressive in both appearance and charisma. Her aura gives off a very admirable yet dignified sense to anybody around her, even those older than her. Though this case of high nobility also leaves Juri to come off as being pretty aloof and intimidating to her peers as well. Though she is admired by both male and female alike talking to the girl can prove to be quite difficult, most are scared of her and don't dare trying to upset her. This includes all the teachers as well. But when it comes to boasting about herself (when not fighting) she's surprisingly humble about it, though she knows what she can do and how good she can go it.

Growing up in a more or less royal-type setting she enjoys the finer things in life such as designer products and relatively respects anything she can fine beauty in. Juri also has a fierce attitude, but this usually holds up in fighting or when one attempts to crush something precious to her (her locket being a fine example). On the battlefield she can be rather hostile and some arrogance can begin to surface to the point of showing no mercy, when she wants to win a match of any kind she shows a vast amount of determination. She's not a fan of losing.

However this outer shell of a noble and admiring personality is not all there is to the orange haired girl. On the inside, deep within her, there lay too many secrets kept to herself that cause her a great deal of angst. Being betrayed by one of her friend, someone very dear to her, more than once has left Juri in a state of bitterness. She has begun to not believe in miracles wanting to do everything to disprove them and on top of that take to trying her best to ignore the optimism and nativity around her...most of the students are like that. Really. What actual person would act that way? She finds herself brooding on these problems of hers more than she would like to especially in the shower.

Even so she is far from being a bad person. Juri posses more qualities from Gryffindor than any other house, she's brave, courageous, very loyal, and even chivalry. It's like she almost has the characteristics of a prince.

Background: Juri was born into a full blooded wizarding family. Though she was born in Japan, at a young age she moved to France with her family and started a new life there. Her family, because they were pure blood, also had a long history of royal blood and heritage in them. Juri took most of it for granted, at a young age she lived a lovely lifestyle full of nice things. This more than likely formed some of her current personality, even before coming to Hogwarts.

When she finally started to attend the school Juri took the time to adjust to Hogwarts and it's not so royal treatment, but she managed. However, life at Hogwarts changed when she was sent a mysterious letter, along with a ring with a rose crest embedded on it, from someone named "End of the World" with promises of miracles and a way to revolutionize the world. It wasn't until her fourth year that the ring she wore turned out to actually be a portkey to another world, an elite school known as Ohtori to be more exact. There was no escape from the strange school and not a drop of reality in it, just a nightmarish fairytale.

Because of her ring she was issued a position in the student council along with a few others and because of this was treated with more respect than any of the other students, even gaining access to a private garden. But what she didn't count on was the fact that she had to participate in a series of duels to become a prince and fight for a very powerful witch known as the rose bride whom would do whatever the victor wanted. This witch that was fought for contained enough power to revolutionize the world and show a whole new ample amount of miracles. Needless to say Juri showed a considerably amount hate towards the rose bride, who was known as Anthy Himemiya, because she reminded her a lot of she hated. Unfortunately the only way to express herself towards Anthy was to give her the cold shoulder, she had zero respect for the girl and was even slightly afraid of her.

But who could blame her? The girl was just so...creepy and weird.

It was also at Ohtori that Juri started to show her interest in fencing and met two other people who would be her two best friends. Ruka and Shiori. Ruka was captain of the fencing team and taught Juri everything about fencing that she needed to know, all her skills she learned from him. Juri did everything with Ruka and Shiori from fencing to studying and she held both of them dear to her. But Juri also held secret feelings of affection for Shiorl but never dared to tell the other girl. She even held a locket with her picture in it that she took everywhere with her. Shiori believing that Juri loved Ruka instead, "stole" him from her and unlimitedly betrayed her. But soon after, Ruka became very ill and was forced to leave the school Shiori transferred out as well while Juri became very much hurt by this whole love predicament. It was here on out she only wished to obtain the rose bribe to prove miracles wrong after being hurt by her secret love.

The after math of her tragic situation left her in a bitter state but her life once again changed after meeting another duelist by the name of Utena Tengou who, despite that Juri hated at first because of her optimistic outlook on life, came off as a simply girl that dueled while not being part of the student council. Now captain of the fencing team after Ruka's departure, Juri duels Utena a couple of times but loses and her view on Utena changes to deep respect for the other girl after getting to know her a bit more.

Soon the time comes when Juri reawakes and returns to her normal class schedules after so long and even starts a fencing club in which she takes charge of. The locket, the rose crest, the letter, all still kept with her. Where had she been? Nobody knew. But all is back to normal for the 7th year Hogwarts student as she continues on as a normal wizard.

Blood: Full blooded
Preferred House: Gryffindor
Why you think they belong in this house? As stated in the personality section she has more Gryffindor characterics than any other, the house is perfect for her.
School Year: 7th
Quidditch Position: There are no spots so probably not XD, but I might put her on reserve. She can ride a chocobo or a phoenix instead.
Would you like the character to possibly get a higher position? Prefect.

Roleplay Samples
Journal Sample: It seems I haven't touched this journal in the longest time...For anyone wondering where I have been for the past few years. Well it's a long story, but to put it shortly I've been called back home for personal reasons and I'll leave it at that.

[there's a pause as Juri taps her quill against the paper]

I’d also like to get back into fencing. Should anyone be up for a practice match you can tell me and I'll gladly be up to it. Just know that I won’t go easy on you.

Tenjou? You’re here too correct?

Roleplay Sample: Coming up to the Fencing club Juri looked around the empty area. No one was here...blinking slowly the girl couldn't keep the bewildered expression off her face. This was really strange. Perhaps if she went down to the Great Hall? Something might have been going on that she didn't know about. So that's exactly what she did, she carefully stepped through the halls, a student or two could be seen chatting with each other though they immediately stepped to the side when they saw the girl that was known as "The beautiful Leopard". Juri paid no mind to their nervousness and continued on her way until she reached her destination.

Just as she thought. The Great Hall was crowded, some sort of intervention going on or something she speculated. Oi...Juri let her hand travel until it came to the front of her face, a nice facepalm was needed for this occasion. How could she forget about this? Last day of school dinner, this was really embarrassing. Well she still sat down and slid next to a fellow student letting both her hands rest over her face as she closed her eyes to retain her dignity. Hrm.

"...I won't even ask."

At least nobody seemed to mind all to much.
