what happened?

I am feeling a bit confused. Yesterday I was surfing around and found a day old post in a group(one of my favorite groups to peruse) saying "if you want to stay in the group, post a response with your name, age, and why." I did this. Now today I am suddenly no longer in the group, and it doesn't seem like it is down many members, so I don't think it happened to everyone. I contacted the mod there, so I hope I can get it worked out.
On a more positive note my MIL sent me a beautiful Elbee a few days ago. What a surprise. Nothing better than fluffy mail.
