Xanadu
Mike Daniels and I went to NYC. We saw Xanadu and Les Miserables.
Xanadu-
go see it. no, really just go. And do the onstage seating, and you too can have the video of kerry butler using a sponge replay over and over in your head...I loved the show (so did Mike) so far, that is the best Broadway experience I have EVER HAD! (Yes folks...it beat out Hairspray...) Xanadu, not my favorite show...but a very close second! My New Favorite performer is Shannon Antalan no one major in the show...I just liked her energy. Kerry Butler..sponge...oh god...
Les Miserables-
I saw the tour about 7 or 8 years ago. I decided it was time to see it again, and this time I'm older I would understand alot more of it. And I did. I loved it. It is really a great piece of musical theatre (go figure)... It was Mikes 6th time seeing the show...haha.
I will be hopefully br auiditioning for Les Mis up at North Shore Music Theatre If they contact me back!(it'd be AMAZING if I actually got in. and I would get to stay and see Matt alot more for a few months!!!)
I auditioned for Little Shop, I didn't get in. I had a great singing audition, but my reading wasn't good. They also didn't let you look at the dialogue before you went up onstage, Not even for like 5 min...so it was sort of hard to impromptu it. Oh well, I'm not upset...just means I can work more, and make a little more money.
School is starting in a week. I like all the classes I'm gonna be in, so it should be a hard (but fun!) semester!
Things are starting to get back to normal (well, at least what is able to get back to normal)
