"You gave me the wrong pier number where the drug exchange was held. The meeting was
sucessfully held in another place..." Van instantly answered.
This time, the Chief didn't bother to hide the surprised expression on his face after he heard Van.
"H-How did you---?" he wasn't able to finish his sentence when Van cuts him off.
"I saw it on the files. I managed to get a hold of the memory card which has all of
Noritomo Sousuke's previous and future drug dealings.I did an undercover
surveillance on Yoshida's office behind your back...So,the old man is losing his
touch, huh? He wasn't able to properly hide his mess...That's why I got it." Van
spoke,pertaing to Yoshida Sousuke.
The Chief remained silent for a few minutes or so...Then,without a word,he suddenly
laughed out loud as if he was crazy. Van watched him, while looking puzzled.
"You really thought that you have won over the old man?Son,little did you know that
Yoshida-san won this battle already...Few years ago without you knowing it!" the
Chief sneered at him.
Van's brow met in an angry frown.
"What are you trying to say now?!" he demanded.
"Easy son.You need to control your temper if you want to know the real truth behind
the death of Nishikawa Nao...Oh,forgive me for my mistake.Actually,Nishikawa
Nao,the simple girl from Okinawa is alive. But she's living as a different person
now..." the chief relayed.
Van's face became white as a ghost...It means that he is not the only one who knows
about Nao's secret, but Yoshida Sousuke and the Chief knows that Nishikawa Nao is
trapped inside Yoshida Seira's body!
"The expression n your face is priceless,son...Just priceless!I just wished that
our big boss could see this! And don't worry,I'll tell you all about our big dark
secret,so youd better listen carefully, okay? annouced the Chief, while tapping Van's
shoulders.
Van just gave him a dirty look.
"This is what really happpened 8 years ago,Van...At the hospital, after Seira-sama
was officially pronounced dead by the doctor and Nishikawa Nao was already in a
stable condition,Yoshida Sousuke-sama arrived at the hospital. He didn't get the
chance to talk to his daughter for the last time...You see,the main reason why the
Yoshida family is in Karuizawa that time is because of the construction of their
newest hotel..." the Chief started.
"Which killed Yoshida Sousuke's daughter. It's all his fault afterall,so he should
blame himself!" Van spat out.
The Chief suddenly gave Van a hard slap on the face.
"Shut up!" he angrily shouted.
Van bit his lip as he felt the sharp pain on his face...
"Now,be a good boy and listen carefully...Back at the hospital,I saw Yoshida
Sousuke-sama grieving over the deadth of his one and only child...I've never seen
him crying like that.He said he couldn't let his daughter go and he will do
everything within his power to bring his daughter back...And he was also angry
because Nishikawa Nao was alive...If that local girl from Okinawa was saved by the
doctors, why can't they do something about his own daughter? And at that time, one
dangerous idea suddenly came into his mind." continued the Chief.
Van held his breath while waiting for the Chief to speak again...He will finally
know why Nishikawa Nao's soul is trapped inside Yoshida Seira's body...
"Yoshida Sousuke-sama talked to one of the best doctors here and abroad for a face
surgery. He decided to change Nishikawa Nao and Yoshida Seira's faces...Well,to make
the story short, the operation was sucessfull, and the doctors who were involved in
the face sugery was killed...At the end,the body of Yoshida Seira-san with the face
of Nishikawa Nao has been officially buried, and Nishikawa Nao's body with Seira-
sama's face is living up until this day...I bet the new Yoshida Seira was confused
at first to when she finally woke up from a coma. But she couldn't tell anyone that
she is Nishikawa Nao,or else the other people might think that she is mentally
disturbed." The Chief finally finished his confession.
Van's eyes widened in utter shock after he heard the truth.
"That's a mortal sin!" he breathed out.
"You can't blame a father for doing such things for his child..." retorted the
Chief.
