Other than work and play, what do you use the computer for?
I do many things in fact, like going online and chatting with my fans, reading comments from my fans or watching the news. I search for various kinds of music through the internet, and watch different types of performance clips.
Sounds like you quite like going online and doing those various activities, which website do you frequent most then?
SFC (Show Fans Club), and STAGE website.
Why?
Reading the comments by my fans let me know what they think about inside, I also learn about information I tend to lose out on, I get to know how I should correct my steps too. As for STAGE, it is part of my career, of course I would go online and view my website, looking at the discussion forums would let me know the situation in the shops and what the customers like and need.
You often go online, even your own brand has it’s own website, have you had experience with online shopping in the past then?
Yes.
How did it feel like?
It felt pretty good, I bought fake shoes, hence I never bought things online again.
When you’re online, do you use Facebook or Plurk to interact with your fans?
I currently don’t use such websites, I usually talk to the fans through SFC, view the discussion threads and so on. Gold Typhoon also has a discussion board, so most of my time is spent at such places.
Other than using the computer to go online, are there other things that you do?
Most of the time I use it to go online, because my main purpose is to use it as a portal to communicate with my fans, at the same time know about the latest news as the internet is most of the time faster than news on the television.
If your computer were to break down, causing you to be unable to go online, what would your reaction be?
Ah! (Freezes for 5 seconds.)
Who would you look for to help you out?
I would quickly call my good friends to help out, if not call my colleagues who are in-charge of running SFC, the company also has an IT department to help resolve such matters, they turn in really late, so I wouldn’t need to worry that I can’t find anyone (to help me)!
What if your computer really ends up spoilt and important documents like your promotion pictures, photos taken with fans and STAGE documents are lost in the process, what would you do?
Dismantle it, burn it, reject it. Ha, I’m just joking! For work related documents, my colleagues would have a complete similar copy as well, hence I need not worry. As for myself, my colleagues have bought for me HD, therefore all my files can be stored in CDs, though I’ve heard that it isn’t a very secure method either.
If your computer’s spoilt and it sent for repair, are you afraid your documents would be leaked?
Nope, I’m still fine in that matter as there isn’t much in my computer, most of the time I go online, receive emails and search for information, there aren’t any special confidential documents, so I’m not bothered in that aspect.
Since you like to use the computer to interact with your fans, what’s the worst situation you’re afraid of that might happen to your computer?
That would be when I can’t go online of course! For example, my computer would update itself at times, but sometimes after the update, my computer would act weirdly, it would hang out of the blue, and sometimes not allow me to go online, it’s really troublesome.
I see, your computer often updates itself. Then have you installed anti-virus and regularly conducted anti-virus scans?
My friends would help me work that out, so I don’t know whether anti-virus is installed either, it should be installed I guess! I’m just not sure whether when my friend helps me update it.
You can dance, sing and act very well, but if one day you were to strengthen your knowledge about computers, what would you like to learn about?
haha, I haven’t thought of that yet, as long as my computer allows me to go online, it’s fine, as for other professional areas, I would be better if I still left it for the professionals to do it.
