SICK Flags !!
Kingda Ka was a 2 hour wait - not bad since Security told us it would be 3 hours. When we finally got on, strapped in, and sent out on the track - the music cut. The ride broke down when we were on the track ready to get launched!! You could see all the technicians running around under the car, and then they backed our car back into the gate. IT MADE IT SO MUCH COOLER. Anyway, it was like getting punched in the face getting launched; it was so amazing to feel weightlessness at the top - welcome to my life! Hahaa. Andrea had her first corn dog that day!
So we came home broke and fairly early because we were all exhausted from the heat. Skull Mountain is gay and that's why we don't ride it ever - except for yesterday. Sometimes you need a reminder. Slept in and went to Michelle's!! We went to a pre-season Jets game. Jets v Lions - it was SO MUCH FUN!! So many good stories. Ugh, and in the 2nd half - SO MANY FLAGS!! Slept over there, and came home around 11/12 today because my life can be described as "The Constant Gardener" when I'm pretty sure everyone else's is "Wet Hot American Summer." I wish.
Now I'm gonna go bake brownies for AJ and head out to Andrea's Block Party! Then tomorrow pretty much the same deal (2 in 1) except in fancy clothes.
