Minatsuki Takami is like an ogre. She's mean and strong and she has layers. The top layer, the one that you see at first, is a sweet, shy, demure little girl who wants to be friends with you. She can't stand hurting people. She hates her blood-control power. She's innocently sexual, the kind of girl who gets flustered when her top slips down or her skirt is blown up by the wind, the kind of girl you just can't help but want to protect.
Then, when it's convenient for her, she drops the facade and reveals what she claims to be her true self: A cruel, vulgar girl who literally gets off on causing other people pain, on seeing their horrified and helpless faces. She laughs at people's misery, makes crude sexual references, and insults people any way she can: You're a weakling? She'll point out how you can't even beat one little girl as she rends your flesh from your bones. You're a trans woman? She'll point out that you have testicles, and then kick them. A lesbian? She'll call you a dyke and accuse you of trying to rape her. She claims she can't stand people who act all noble and righteous, but in fact she loves them: That is, she loves to see them writhe and suffer, preferrably at her own hands. There's only one thing this layer of Minatsuki really hates: People who refuse to suffer for her. When her brother Yoh has her figured out, she exclaims in fury, "If you won't make the [hopeless, broken] face how can I cum?!"
And that's when you start digging down into Minatsuki's true self. After she was abandoned by her mother during the earthquake ten years ago, Minatsuki decided that she wouldn't let it happen again. And what better way to keep from being thrown away than to make sure she never got close to anyone? She became cruel and heartless, pushing away anyone who might have become a friend or loved one. She even tries to do the same to her older brother, though he sees right through her; even when she accuses him of having a sister complex it's no good. Still, she did kill her father for presumably these reasons, and she even killed her school counselor, probably because they had figured her out. Even her repeated statements of wanting to cum all the time seem to be a fabrication; while she acts overly sexual in her day-to-day life, she gets flustered and embarrassed when she's walked in on while changing her clothes.
Minatsuki tries to convince herself that her cruel, sex-obsessed bitch personality is her true self, and she's even started to believe it, a little -- though if she met someone else with her own issues she would call them out in a heartbeat -- but deep down inside she's really just afraid of rejection. Minatsuki's Branch of Sin is called Whip Wing; her blood extends from her hair, forming a whip that she can move at speeds faster than the eye can see. It's strong enough to rip through clothing, flesh and even metal. A drawback, however, is that she does have to be bleeding to use the ability.
Non-superhuman special abilities of note:
Minatsuki has a green thumb, and knows a lot about flowers and how to take care of them. She's also well-practiced at hiding her true personality until the right moment comes to reveal herself; she can even cry and blush on command. An average human with no special perceptive skills would have a hard time seeing through her act.
