(no subject)
today was the last day for my school's 12th graders. it's known that 12 graders ALWAYS do something on their last week, not to mention last day. every year there bound to be people throwing water balloons and there's always something extra, usually enough to irritate the teachers to shorten the day
2 years ago they set a lot of tables in a table pyramid
last year they soldered the school gate and someone jumped off the off onto a pile of mattresses
this year they came after the school closed/before it opened and just hit random places with balloons filled with paint and brough live animals and threw them into classes, big crowds, etc.
yes.
they brought baby quails, tied a sign to them and just let them in classes. of course all the little princesses starts scream and scaring the life out of the poor creatures |:
that's not even the worst part. they also brought baby mice, a lot of them and "let them free" in one of the classes, big crowds, yeah. girls starts screaming, same drill
I didn't really think of interfering with anything even tho it bothered me, then a guy suddenly came to where I stood and just literally threw the poor mouse into the crowd of all the scared girls and curious people stood. I just.. ran inside and took the mouse to the principal, asking him what I should do with it
....he didn't pay much attention to me, and when I finally got him to look at me and the mouse he told me he was trying to figure out a way to deal with it, and that he doesn't know that to do with it. "just kill it" "WHAT, NO" "then free it outside of school" yeah ok thanks
a person I know caught another mouse and was taking care of it, and my friend caught one as well. luckily, my school is next to a petting zoo and my other friend still works there, so she called the owner to come take the mice
later on 2 other girls with mice came by so we saved like about 6 mice. I'm sure there were 10+ tho sigh, I think the principal called an exterminator ):
I heard there were some rats they freed in the library too, guh seriously terrorize the school how much you want but WHY HURT ANIMALS IN THE PROCESS. I was so upset hearing my principal's reaction ffff really
btw they were baby mice that were obviously PET mice (they were really clean and all), so freeing them wouldn't be the best solution |:
I had a mock exam right after we handed the mice to the petting zoo's owner, so I had to leave and couldn't help the rest of my friends look for more ):
