HELP ME OUT PLEASE

Hello.... anybody,
I am thinking about writing a paper about livejournals and what draws people to have them to write in. So I was just curious if anyone was willing to comment on this entry about just why they personally have a live journal? I'd really appreciate anything... thanks....

Hi there Robert it's your buddy Leslie.. I found your cry for help and thought.. hmm I can try to help him out I guess.
I got a livejournal for a few different reasons, but they seem to be the same as everyone else. I'll just do the lame list form to keep it simple:
1) To be able to keep up w/ my friends who went away to other colleges, and so they could see what I was up to.
2) Just to vent and get stuff out.. b/c honestly I don't think many people actually read what I write out.. and I'm sure if more ppl did they'd think I was a much bigger weirdo then they already do.
3) It is a good way to waste time, and to show off the stupid analogies I tend to make up. (that one is kinda weak)
4) Honestly, one of my old friends was posting a lot of mean stuff in her thing "directed" at me.. soo I jumped on the band wagon to "direct stuff" at her.. yes lame I know.. but girls are stupid and like to do hurtful things to people w/o physical contact.. it's how girls are wired, we can't help it.
5) It is fun to fill out all those random posts with lists like what's your favorite stuff.. or.. would u rather this or that.. [I guess that just falls under a form of entertainment.. seems to be a common theme here]
6) If you join communities you can find cheap concert tickets, new "friends" (b/c some ppl actually have livejournal parties and just invite ppl off here to come.. even if they have never met), and a lot of really random stuff to buy.. or even ppl asking to become roommates with any person that would reply to their posts. (wouldn't recommend the roommate posts.. kinda scares me.. but it is kinda funny).
Neways.. I guess that's really all I can come up w/ right now.. I'm sure none of that really helps lol.. I just got bored and rambled on. Cya! Let me know how this goes! :)
