Challenge 02: Legendary Creatures
A legendary creature is a mythological or folkloric creature (often known as "fabulous creatures of earth" in historical literature). - from Wikipedia.
Glad you all picked a talisman, you're going to need them while we investigate creatures of lore. Every country and culture has their own legends and myths and within each of those lurk a great many unusual creatures. Your task this week is to investigate a legendary creature of your choosing.
Neuro's getting a bit hungry, so I'm afraid to say some of you will be getting your mysteries eaten this week. So do your best to prove to him that you have much more to offer if you want to stick around.
But enough about that...
THE CHALLENGE
This week's challenge is to make an icon that features a character(s) who is/are something out of folklore or a legendary creature(s). They do not have to be of Japanese origin - folklore and legendary creatures from any culture may be used.
You can find a rather comprehensive list on Wikipedia. If you know the name of the creature you wish to icon check this link to make sure it counts. If you aren't sure about the name, but know the type of creature it is, check this link. You may also use creatures from the Cthulhu Mythos. There should be no reason why you can't find something that will count between those links, but if there's something that you really think should be on there but isn't, just ask and I'll let you know if it can count or not.

The challenge is open to all participants who signed up. If you didn't submit last week you must submit this week or you will be disqualified.

► your icon must use an official image from any shounen or seinen animanga series
► be creative with your icons - there are no limitations aside from subject and lj icon standards (100x100px, 40 kb - .png is preferred as .jpg compression can leave behind some ugly artifacts)
► please read the rules before submitting
