Mujan... could you have at least warned me? That, and I was going for security, you know...

In that case, I really can't refuse... Schuldig, when do I start? I heard that you're almost done setting up but it needs some more cleaning and whatever. I do work for ShinRa's Rebuilding/Restoration, so I could help out with that, too. While I'm at it, I' ( Read more... )

Understood. It's the reason that people didn't take well to Miroku's first impressions, either, but what bothers me is that the monk is completely serious. I'm not so much apologizing for his behavior as much as I'm apologizing for men on a whole and how not all men are like that. It's just that there are all too many men who make the good ones look bad.

Thank you. The quicker we could get them back to themselves, the better.

Yes, we'll be observing him for suspicious behavior. If he posts any entries in the journal, we'll try to check public comments against blanks. We need to see if he encounters people and whether or not he attacks them. Yachiru is close to him, she's trying to get closer; if anything is going to happen, she is instructed to inform Jean immediately. Basically, we're trying to find out who else is also infected aside from the four mentioned.

Don't worry--I've informed them before mentioning it to you two. It seems that Reno has talked with Yachiru, and maybe he'll get a heads-up as well.

He's on a level of his own. That in itself is disturbing. What woman in her right mind would tell him yes? Especially when he likes to grope certain parts of her body too? You don't even need to apologize for that. I know plenty of men who aren't like that at all. Aoshi-sama and Himura, and ugh, even Saito are just a few.

Yeah especially since we don't know what the long-term side effects could be.

Ah, okay. But even though he seems to be the most affected, we can't just keep an eye on him. Shouldn't we observe the others as well? And do we know anything about the whereabouts of Hojo and Jenova?

Reno seems like a reliable and trustworthy person to me. And he knows Hojo and Jenova better than the rest of us considering they're from the same world.

Ah, I suppose he must be, but thankfully he's picking up little tips and hints. Although his adjustment is very slow... ... I was about to say something, but I recall that I have to work on not talking about things like that. I might as well put that out there for the record, though. At least, I would like to also hear what Sakura wants to say.

Mm. I don't know if I have informed you, but I was told of two possible 'cures'. One involves completely destroying the person, but this probably won't work in a place where people can easily come back to life. On the other hand, the second solution would be to have those who are infected fight off Jenova's influence with their own wills. The catch is that they have to be strong-willed in order to do so, and (from my experience) Jenova seems to easily pick out emotions, thoughts, and memories of particular weakness and attacks those parts of the mind, making it very hard to stop her influence.

Hmm, maybe it'll be better if you two could choose one of the others to keep an eye on, and we'll probably all report on Yachiru's journal. We can discuss this some more later, but is there anyone you'd propose to keep an eye on? As it is, I seem to have my hands full with everything that's going on around me...

Alright. Since you and Yachiru trust him, I can as well. Andrew knows about their whole story from this 'video game', whatever that is, so he seems to have quite a bit of knowledge about ShinRa, the Turks, Hojo, and Jenova.

It's hard to imagine someone like him changing overnight. Good job although now I'm curious as to what you wanted to say.

I think you did say something to me about that before. So if you intend to "cure" them by having them fight off her influence through sheer willpower, how do you intend to go about that? By builiding up their mental defenses?

I know you're already keeping an eye on Rikku and Jean and that little girl are probably keeping an eye on Logan so it would only make sense that Ed and I keep an eye on the other two. Although, Elena is Reno's friend so I'm sure he's keeping an eye on her himself. I don't know who this Makubex person is though. I could try to keep an eye on him or her once I learn who it is.

Great. The right information will be very helpful.

Yes, we'd have to build up their mental defenses. If I could find out what it is that Rikku is most afraid of and find a way to strengthen her against it, then I might be able to help her out. Similar for the others.

What makes this hard is that we can't all possibly monitor all of them at every single time of the day. As it is, Rikku gives me a lot of trouble (she could really be a handful), and the four of us (myself, Jean, Yachiru, and Andrew) had agreed that we're all trying to focus on Logan... And of course you could see that I've got other problems, too. I know that Ed has spent some time with Rikku before, but maybe you could, too?

Hm, yeah that's true.

Yeah, I can do that. Maybe I should invite her for a girl's outing or something. Does she like to shop, by any chance? Or maybe we can get our hair and make-up done. Although I personally don't see why I'd get my hair and make-up done for no reason.

Hm, she likes excitement and danger, which is something that worries me sometimes. And she's a thief, so... Err, she likes 'machina', machinery, technology, and similar things... Geez, this is getting tough. I mean, I know how I spend my time with her, but that's a different issue altogether...
