Oliver Twisted? Didn't he get his fill of peanuts- and Ryan's finger tip, while in Berkeley? Oh, yeah, that's a parallel universe in the future! ; ) O.T. really is like a bad rash or some for of pestilence. He just keeps popping up and spreading- with impeccable timing. As if poor Ryan didn't have enough to contend with as A.J.'s human punching bag and choice for regular and random target practice.

I could almost here the crack at the contact of the shovel, and the reverberations that followed. Just the thought had me cringing, and caught me unaware. With typical behavior like that, it's a wonder Ryan doesn't just mumble incoherently and stare into space. One could say that even if he's still the lucky recipient of A.J.'s wrath and misdirected self-loathing, at least Ryan isn't isolated and alone with A.J.

The characters seem to be in familiar form, with tweaks in their backgrounds either to make the story plausible, or for dramatic purposes perhaps. Ryan is still putting everyone else first and expecting nothing for himself as he plugs away without complaint. It's clear just how his life has resembled the camp, an experience that horrifies the others.

Seth is still the geek, and more uncertain and less self-absorbed and unbearable. He's more like his earliest S1 self. T.T. doesn't seem as clingy, needy, and focused only on herself- thank God. She actually spares a thought for others. Anna, Summer and Luke all show signs of their on screen selves. One can only guess what O.T. has in store. Whatever he brings, I'd say it's sure to spell disaster. What a cruel, cruel twist.

Thank you for continuing to follow the story. I'm glad the characters seem familiar, if not completely in character.

I'd say they are both familiar, and in character- at least in character the way I would have preferred them to be and remain. Seth became insufferable far too soon and lost any appeal for that reason, T.T. became downright intolerable to me by the time of "The My Two Dads." Having both of them, at the very least retaining what could have been positive qualities is a huge plus.
