[chuckling] Without us even being involved, they manage to all crumble away from each other. It's really, quite delightful. As if all we've done was moot compared to the potent power of inner conflict.
If only there was a way to use that whenever we deem necessary.

I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

There's always a way to do that, depending on the individuals affected. It's sometimes a little too easy.

Yes. I usually use more direct methods in my craft. But, sometimes I get lucky and it causes inner turmoil.

You see, Vash is a very compassionate one, always making friends; and when they are taken from him-- in quite horrible ways-- the resulting suffering fills me with a great sense of elation.
It suffices, to say the least.

I would understand how that feels perfectly. That's his greatest weakness, isn't it? He would do anything for his friends, not knowing that they're just using him.

And only once has he ever willingly killed, even though dozens have betrayed, and attempted to destroy him.

You'll be surprised at the amount of people who do; it's only a matter of whether it's convenient to display it openly.

I wonder, Legato, if you'll be the one to finally destroy him. Seems very likely, doesn't it?
