I died for you one time, but never again.

So, to explain my name. My friend, Lewis got me hooked on this one song by Brand New, called Limousine. The song is incredibly sad, which I think is the reason why I am addicted to it.

Her signal was interrupted
My baby's frequency not strong enough
Her head in my hands, and smiling

K, we will miss you but in time you'll get set up,
And we will write..."

Hey, you beauty supreme
Yeah, you were right about me
But can I get myself out from underneath
This guilt that will crush me
In the choir, I saw our sad Messiah
He was bored and tired of my laments
He said, "I died for you one time, but never again..."

Well I love you so much, but do me a favor baby and don’t reply
Cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it

(I'll never have to buy adjacent plots of earth)
(We'll never have to rot together underneath dirt)
(I'll never have to lose my baby in the crowd)
(I should be laughing right now)

It's about the death of 7 year old Katie Flynn. She was coming home from a wedding with her mother, and a drunk driver hit their limousine, which in turn decapitated Katie. Reportedly, while the rescue workers cleaned up, the mother was still clutching her daughter's head in her hands. Verse 1 is written from the point of the mother, as well as the "My baby's frequency..." part, the second verse "Hey you beauty..." is from the driver, and the bracketted part is Katie herself, supposedly.

Which explains my username.

Now. Why am I on here in the first place?

My sister, who just this summer moved away to her dorm at Eastern, suggested I should get one so we could be 'livejournal buddies'.
I have had one before, but for some reason, I can never stick to there journal sites. Nothing beats regular old writing on pieces of paper. But who knows. Maybe it'll work out this time.
