Highrise.
What are all these yuppies doing here?! The site an abandoned multifloor structure, a skyscraper that ran out of funds midbuild - somewhat developed on a few levels, barely anything but floor and beams on others. Is the event location for an art show or some sort? I had suggested the very idea to my team: How very meta of you. Large prints of abinru sites hosted and exhibited on the sites themselves. Pipe in some wiring for lights, bit of air circ, lug in a toilet and some coffee making equipment for the volunteer watchman? Doable.
But now, a wide expanse, tiled white (superbly grimy after years of nonuse, &c.), and oddly enough the sense of artificial lighting. Someone took showers here, how I don't know, sometime ago. Exfil and post-expo a long winding (bike?) ride on autumn streets. The leaves of trees into piles by wind or humans, the lovely color in the air nearing dusk, before streetlamps bring their sodium vapor muck.
And then the alarm clock.
