After doing nothing all day I checked in to see if they'd put me on shift. True enough they did - felt better knowing what my week's going to be like, but even better was the evening super asking me out of the blue if I worked out. He then proceeded to regale me with how he used to go to the gym everyday for five years, but he loves fun (his version: beer and meat, and junk foods) too much and now he's just, well, not at all fighting fit. His anecdote doesn't really motivate me to do more work, as I've blipped it out of my mind mere seconds after, but it does make me wonder about some people. On my way out another super asks where I work out and I tell him, just at home. Of course: the inhouse DJ's superb and there's free access to all manner of good tasting tea. But nevermind all that. A new record so soon after the previous one, and afterwards an excellent, thorough soak in glistening, cleaner than pristine bathtub.
