Challenge 2 - Weekly Challenge

Feb 27, 2011 23:25

Yay! Time for Challenge 2! This week, there is only 1 theme that requires you to to submit THREE icons or a submission doesn't count.

RULES.
★ Only members can participate. Meaning you must JOIN the community for your entries to count. If you plan on just voting then watching the community is fine :)
★ Only official art is allowed. No fan arts, and all the likes that were not drawn by the original creators of the anime/manga.
★ Josei anime/manga will be accepted and some mangas of other types (i.e. K-ON! is classified as Seinen but I'd accept an icon of K-ON!) If you don't know if your chosen anime/manga is shoujo-related or not, either ask here or Google/Wikipedia it!
★ KEEP YOUR ICONS PG13! All icons must meet LJ standards: 100x100 in size, 40KB, and .png, .jpg, .gif format.
★ All icons must be made "fresh" for the challenges. This means you can't submit an icon you've already made & posted. NEW ICONS ONLY.
★ Do not post your entries anywhere else BUT in a comment on the appropiate entry page until the challenge is over.
★ Don't steal or copy someone else's icon, obviously.

THEME.
There's only one this week and as suggested by cool_spectrum, this week's theme is Tri-Set Crops. I combined two themes together that I thought could work, and to keep things interesting. xD

What does this mean, exactly? All you have to do is make a set of THREE icons that WORK TOGETHER that INCORPORATE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CROPS! Examples of crops: far crop, negative space, close crop, etc. I hope this explains it well because I stink at explaining.... but if you have questions, I'll try my best to answer!

There are more types of crops, I'm sure but these are the only ones I can think of right now as they are the types I use myself when making icons (and my interpretation of the types of crops). Also, the icon examples I've used in any posts were all made by me.

SUBMITTING.
Please leave a comment in the following format: image src (<*img src="image url here">), image url, theme, (character) from (series), and any extra resources you've used.

* Note that my icon examples aren't a good example of what you should submit; this is just the format you have to submit in.
