Jushiro gazed at Kenpachi's bare back, wondering just what monster had the strength to carve out those scars.
Kenpachi had never told him about his past, nor how he came to be with Yachiru, how he found her. Jushiro always wanted to ask, to know more about his partner, but there never seemed to be the right time.
Just what had happened all those years ago?
He lay down, draping an arm over Kenpachi.
Jushiro was certain that the knowledge would come to him in time, that Kenpachi would eventually open up to him.
Till then, he only needed patience.
