Just FYI. I'm probably going to be yoinking this too. I've been trying to make better icons because I'm so fucking jealous of yours and this looks like a great way to go about it. So yeah, I'm being all thieving and shit.

Also, your icon. I approve so much.

I spotted one of your posts on Facebook. Busch Gardens? Sounds like a fun place. 8D

Now that you're back, I can post that GIMP tutorial I've been going over last night. TEE-HEE. You're into icon-making now. Which makes me a very, very happy Nab. <3

Yeah, it is a fun place. My family goes every October because they rock the place out with their Halloween themes and haunted houses and all. We've always been real big into Halloween, so this is our yearly vacation. I'm working on getting pictures up.

Hee, more tutorials! As soon as the month is over, I should have plenty of time to deal with icons and stuff. Ideas, I has them. :3

I'm going to have to check it out if/when I make it over there. >:D The most I ever get from Halloween here was a dance with my father's friend. Fun...but ehhh, kinda lame. We ain't so into Halloween here.

That be awesome. >:3 You're using GIMP, right? Heehee, I've finally figured out how to do some pretty pretty shiny colouring. Granted, the program did drive me nuts, but hey, I got it to work! >:D

Be prepared for roller coasters. These coasters are bad-fucking-ass. Imagine being 200+ft in the air and dropped at a straight 90 degree angle. That shit will wake you up.

Halloween is when we're pretty much expected to act the way we act all year long. We make it to as many haunted houses as we can and place bets on how long it takes for my eight-year-old niece to break down crying. Cruel, perhaps, but it's conditioning for later in life. I've been going to haunted houses since I could walk and now I'm not phased by much.

Yeah, I'm using GIMP. Very easy to use, though I wish I could target all the layers rather than one at a time. Photoplus does it, so maybe I've just missed it. Wheee, colors!

I've never been on roller coasters, and I do want to try it out, but...I'm basically a coward. With a special phobia of heights. A 90 degree drop will make me shit my pants, at the very least. XD

Bahahahah, you're evil! XDDDDD Bring me to a haunted house and I won't even step past the doormat!

Yeah, I've been trying to figure that shit out for so long now. Guess that it just doesn't do that. :/

Oh, I was terrified as SHIT too when I first got on it. I have a horrible fear of heights as well, but roller coasters are the exclusion to the rule. Still, being able to look straight down that drop is eye-opening.

So that means no chainsaws at the exit, then?

Like I said, Photoplus does it. Not sure why GIMP doesn't. Odd.

I keep imagining the thing flying right off the track at the top of the drop. And I'll be flying off it as well and drop 52309432908497542112308 feet down and crash and I'll bust my brain.

*shiver*

You stick a chainsaw in my face, boy, I will stick one up yo arse.

I know! It's weird. And it's supposed to be a pro photo manipulation program that's about on the same level as PS. >_>

It doesn't help when the roller coasters shut down temporarily for "technical problems." Still, I got on one that did that twice because there was no line and I was getting my chickenshit cousin to get over his whole thing of wooden vs. metal roller coasters. I can browbeat people into things, like a BOSS. >:D

Hah hah hah, then you really didn't want to go into the part of the park where there were five guys with chainsaws hidden within the fog spewed out by the machines scattered everywhere. Listening to people shriek in terror and bolt like scared rabbits is hilarious.

Well, still, you have to give it credit. For it being free, it's fantastic.

Wowowow...SHUT DOWN? Like, you have to stay ON THAT THING while they fix it?

...No. No. Just...no. What if it stops when you're at the top of that 90 degree drop? What if the thing can't stand the weight? What if there's some fatass sitting right in front putting all his weight on it? *dies*

What, real chainsaws? Hahah, well it's always fun when you ain't the one getting jumped. XD

That's one very true thing. Seriously, PS is just fucking expensive. I'm gonna have to rob several banks just to get my hands on the original copy. Ugh, stuck-up sombong programmers. >_>

Sometimes the unlucky ones are stuck on there when it shuts down, but it's rare. No, I was in line for it when they announced it and I went back later that night.

Hah hah hah hah hah, got your paranoia going into overdrive, didn't I?

They're real but they don't have the chains on them. I've had them get within inches of me and not been bothered by it. It helps that we used chainsaws the same way when we used to run the haunted houses where I used to live. I know how they're supposed to be used and to what end.

Yeah, I never got Photoshop because of the price tag. Photoplus was only ten bucks and that does much better than other programs I've seen on other computers. They shouldn't be keeping it so expensive with programs matching their caliber available for free.

Bad luck seems to follow me everywhere, so I'm going to have to stay away from this...hardcore stuff till I get my balls together.

YES YOU DID. NOW ALL I CAN THINK OF IS PEOPLE FALLING RIGHT OFF THAT 90 DEGREE ANGLE AND SMASHING TO THE CEMENT AND HAVING THEIR BRAINS ALL OVER THE PLACE.

You guys are insane. XD Reminds me of this movie or something that I watched. Some guys were renovating a house or something, and a chainsaw malfunctioned. When the police came to investigate, they found...chopped up human bodies. Damn it, I shouldn't have watched it. Makes me queasy. =_=

I KNOW. One would expect them to go out of business because of that, but graphic designers still have PS topping their lists. GIMP needs to have several more tools (like Exclusion layers and the ultimate one of them all - Selective Colour).
