Just a short comment on last weekend. Things went quite well. And other than the snow driving, in which I had to drive from Ypsi, to A2, then down to Brownstown, then back up 75 to the con, while it was A) snowing, and B) there were backups everywhere, well, I'm still impressed we arrived before 6pm. ;) Friday night I did quite alot of party-hopping, with occasional jaunts to the gaming room to play something or other. It was Saturday that was mostly full though. I had attended a ton of panels (I think at least 5...) then went to a chinese place nearby, which I forget the name of. Got back in time for the Steve MacDonald concert, which was great! Spent some more time party-hopping, and got to sleep somewhere around 3am, after spectating a little bit in the gaming room.
Sunday was my cool-down day, I stayed in the gaming room most of the time, which is where I heard the roads were simply _awful_. So around 3, I took off with my carpoolees. I think I peaked at 55 going down the freeway while still in Detroit. Roads were pretty nasty, and traffic was worse! But I made it home safe, so that's the important thing. Looking forward to next year!
