Nov 8th: How I weep for my state, though not for country
Well, turns out that, not only is Michigan quite full of homophobes (see anti-gay amendment passed in 2004) but is also plenty full of bigots and female-haters too. So, yeah. I still like the state, but... the people here make me wonder whether I've decided to live in the right place.
At least they revoted in Stabenow and Granholm (senator and governor, respectively).
