I just realized that I must not have been on livejournal for quite a while. Everything is so new, big, and shiney.
I'm into my second week of tech school. I'm finding most of the material incredibly boring. Anatomy and Physiology has started with cellular biology. Things like "this is how the membrane is designed" and "this is diffusion." I thought the point of prerequisites was to avoid all this painful revisitation. My favourite part, however, was when the girls sitting next to me were discussing which end of a phospholipid was hydrophilic and which was hydrophobic, when 1.) the professor went over it extensively not five seconds ago and 2.) I thought that was part of every single biology class after fifth grade. It is incredibly frustrating. The good news is, the professor is hilarious and incredibly fun to look at :3.
We have a cute new kitty. Her name is Ninja. She's about five months old now. We've had her since she was five weeks old. One of the doctors at the hospital David works at brought her in as an orphaned stray all hypoglycemic and seizuring and what not. Got her all patched up and a week later we took her in. And now she's a terror who never sleeps and idolizes our older cat, Maili. She likes to curl up under your chin when she is in cuddle mode though. Teehee.
No news on the wedding yet. Might be at some point in October of next year. We're not sure. Will keep you posted though.
Oh and, work sucks too. Yay for stupid, lazy, useless people.
