This, by far, is the oldest one I've done. I'm lead to believe it's June-ish 2000~
those boys really do like to fight ;;;
some parts of the scan I have are blurry D: so there are lines I have to miss~ basically.. the title is that they both come from the downtown area of where ever they lived, so it's something they have in common. and.. uh ;; I think they're supposed to 'return to their childhood' and do a report on the similarities. or something.
Kamenashi and Akanishi's homes are only 15 minutes apart by bicycle. They almost entered as Juniors together. With their compatibility in talking, no wonder their relationship improves. Although they constantly come here to play, today we walk through the familiar streets and meet at the candy store.
Kamenashi: iya~ when I see the candy I want everything. Ah, this too please.
Akanishi: You bought so much wasabi flavoured candy, what are you going to do? You can't eat it all.
Kamenashi: It's not like that. Before bed I eat it, and at that time tears come out. It tastes so good. I don't get it. [I think he means he cries because it's strong tasting ^^; wasabi candy doesn't sound good x_x;]
Akanishi: Come to think of it, the argument we had over the candy before turned into a fight.
Kamenashi: Yeah. It's always trivial things that are the cause of fights. "You're keeping a secret!" kind of thing.
Akanishi: But we always naturaly reconcile...
Kamenashi: Not true. More than half is because it's my mistake you know!
Akanishi: Is that right?
Kamenashi: It's right! Jin really hates to be defeated. If you lose at a game you insist that "It was a fluke" or "I wasn't playing seriously". Making mistakes is
important, un un.
Akanishi: Kame worries about situations too much. He's sensitive, or better, he has a glass heart.
Kamenashi: ...don't say such stupid things, you... *blush*
Akanishi: Anyway, that assumption is too intense *really serious*. You, speaking without holding back, what do you think of that? [like what he'd say in place of the glass heart]
Kamenashi: doki*. th.. that is.. [like when you're heart is going doki doki, I'd assume~]
Akanishi: Kame has nothing like that. It's ok, having self confidence is good.
Kamenashi: * a secret deep sigh of relief*
[this is where it's blurred. it looks like it might be saying they just laughed off about what he was saying]
Eating the candy bought from the store on the way, we reach the real intention, the neighbourhood shrine. Baseball and mini badmington.. the two who compete so fiercely have a complete timeslip to their childhood.
Akanishi: Your reaction is meek. You understand whatever you think. Like that, I'm really not like that, but it's a good character.
Kamenashi: *with conciderable shyness* Jin is cool too. Until now, at the time of 'Kowai nichiyoubi' and 'Kinpachi Sensei', I'd have been helpless if I hadn't been in a group with other Juniors, but Jin, didn't you go to the site on your own? Really, I need to follow your example and become independant.
Akanishi: At first it was a little lonely, but once I got used to it it was fun. Drama's are good na. It has a worthwhile feeling.
Kamenashi: Yeah. At the launch of Kinpachi Sensei one of the staff was crying. They were the kind of person that was always smiling, but the kind of person that at the actual place it all piled up on them. When I saw this person I went guu~ *on the verge of tears* [it's a sound thing ^^; like you guu when you're going to cry]
Akanshi: You're very emotional.
Kamenashi: Why!? Why doesn't Jin do things like get emotional?
Akanishi: There are times. In the middle of the night if I watch and emotional video, there
are times I cry. People that put all their effort into their appearance are weak~ my tears go buwaa.. [I can't think how else to word it ^^; it's like Kame's guu.]
Kamenashi: Ah, I get it I get it! When a book says 'But you're still living' I'm really moved! iya~ reading is good!
Akanishi: Kame reading... it doesn't suit you because you don't do it *laugh* Ne ne, next time lets go somewhere far away from our neighbourhood. Or to the hot springs.
Kamenashi: That's really good! *emotional* Let's go somewhere really cold! Somewhere outside where the atmosphere has a clean feeling, it'll definately be fun!!
It interests me what Kame says about Jin going for filming alone and how he wanted independance like that, because it's been well reported that during the gokusen period they were both really happy to have eachother around because they didn't know anyone else there.
Jin, I seem to recall even mentioned it in his letter reading from 24hr TV~ So Jin lost his independance~? XD;
They have such a good relationship, but I feel I have to have a little mini rant here.. Kame is very young, and doesn't come across at all how he does now, or ever has. I think he changed quite suddenly, cause he never really seemed like the emotional-shy-talking-with-Jin type.. I don't even know what I'm trying to say~~ they're cute like this because they're young, not because there's any meaning in it. If they'd been maybe fifteen or sixteen and talking like this, it would be a big deal, but at the time they're just kids being kids. .. please forgive me, I'm very tired and grumpy ^^; Alot of people laugh and say how childish they behave, but it's because they are children. That's more what I'm trying to say :/ If you think they sound cute and childish, it's because they were children when they did it, not 20-something year old Akame that we see now. Really, I'm sorry. It only takes a few people to get me in a bad mood D:
