So two guys get into a Civic...

So yesterday, saturday, was the day I had set for the second date with Tanya. I'm still in shock that she actually said yes. =3

However, it wasn't the only thing I had to do that day, and preparations had to be made. First stop was the place where Brad had to pee in a cup, which they declined to tell us was closed on weekends. So, he's still jobless, it'll just have to wait until next week, so he can make next orientation.

After that, Mitsuwa! =3 Yay, toys and candy! Just as we got there, they were putting out new pokemon keychains! I snagged a Darkrai keychain, 2 mini-gundam statues, and a Haunter. We departed from Mitsuwa, and went to J Toys, just around the corner.

A good hour or so was spent there, and in the middle of it all, a mini-panic set in... What if I messed this up? What if I couldn't find what I had planned for? What if she has a horrible time? What if she stops liking me? Well, I kinda put those on the back burner for the time being, and picked up a Blue Yoshi, a 1-Up Mushroom, and 1-Up noise clicker thingie, and a Blu-Duel Gundam. Brad also got an Animal Crossing figure from the new movie that just hit in Japan, but sadly, got the human character. I felt kinda bad for him, cause I know how much he likes animal townspeople.

So, then we headed to Woodfield, because for some reason, I thought Sanrio had stuff besides Sanrio stuff... Woodfield mall is also a living creature, because me and Brad walked for ten minutes in ONE DIRECTION, and ended up BACK WHERE WE STARTED! It was frightening... We finally found our way to Sanrio, spent about four seconds in there, and hit the Lego store on the way out. Ogled the Lego Millennium Falcon, cause it costs as much as a PS3, and has over 5,000 pieces. Searched for a Lego Mace Windu so I can make Lego Snaked on a Lego Plane... I already have the plane picked out.

So, on the way out of the mall, those back-burner worries came back, ten fold! I got short of breath, my body temperature rose, and I started freaking out... But when Brad asked if I was gonna cancel the date, the only response was 'Not for the world.' I calmed down a little bit when we set out again, and we headed to Stratford, met up with Andrew, filled him on the Tanya situation, and picked up a Naruto headband, which I needed for my plan... I didn't know it at the time, but I got the "exiled village Ninja" headband as she found out later, and exile is cool. Also swung by American Greetings to pick up a proper sized bag and tissue paper...

Still after that was Meijer, where we spent entirely too long trying to find a shirt! I found socks and pants in seconds, but the shirt took me forever... And still after that, we went to Micheal's. I sifted through the fake roses for about twenty, searching for the perfect one... And then through the ribbons, trying to find the color to match the ice blue yoshi.

So, we drove home after this, finally! Got home, with all the pieces, tossed the clothes in for a quick wash and dry so they didn't smell like Meijer, and began assembling. Tied the ribbon in a bow, binding the Yoshi's hands together, and slipper the rose between them. Clipped the `-Up noise maker to the 1-up, and slipped them carefully in the bag, so the rose wouldn't get damaged, and so the noise maker wouldn't go off by accident. Shaved with my new 5-bladed razor, which is produces the smoothest, easiest shave I've ever had in my life, and showered meticulously. Like a germ-o-phobe. Bid my farewells to the guys, took the parcel in hand, and slipped into my car. As for the rest, read the next post.
