--Hm, I didn't realize that going that way would lead me to this area. It's a bit amusing, in its own right.

Well, I'll spare whoever is around the usual dribble and cut straight to the facts. Would I be able to get a general consensus of where I am? I'm not familiar with this place.

You're in World's End now. Wherever you were, I doubt you'll be able to get back to where you were... I'm sorry that you're stuck here.

It's a place where the Gods decide to randomly put people here, and randomly take them away. It's unfriendly and there are monsters and bandits and one of the Gods seems to hate everyone, but we all try to work for each other here.

... I'm sorry, that probably wasn't a very good way of putting it. Someone wrote up a big post about it somewhere that's really helpful, but ...

World's End? How terribly depressing, and I wouldn't waste an apology like that. It's been ages since I've been on a vacation!

Are they that terrible of being god?

I wouldn't really call this place a vacation... and. I don't know how the Gods work, but I don't really trust any of them... they put new people here, and take old people away, and I don't know why they do any of it.

They never explain themselves.

Pessimism never got anyone far, you realize. And, perhaps they're conducting an experiment of some kind and seeing what variables would work and what clearly hasn't in the past.

That's the beauty of thinking outside the box.

It's not a fun place, really. Unless you have a weird idea of fun. But... I guess there are some good things about it.

I'd rather be home, though...

Fun is a broad definition for everyone, really.

Home is what you make it out to be. Whether or not there's good or there's bad in it, it's at least something you can call 'home.'
