walking home from class...
he stood there screaming at me...
his eyes darkened yellow and hazey...
from the drugs he had taken an hour
earlier... he smelt of vodka...

these words i heard yesterday as i walked
35 blocks home from class.
i was shooting my 3rd movie for intro to video.
and was then running late for my 3-d class. and could
not find my carkeys. so michael dropped me off
at class... and i told him to pick me up at
8.30pm. as i did not have my cellphone, and
could not call him to ask me to pick me up.
unfortunatly (on any day but this ONE)
class was let out early... and i had to
talk with the professor after class... and
thus... all of my friends left...
... i was stranded... and without a car...
so i began my journey home.
i was carrying my 3-d art project...
a hunk of clay that was my personal
third dimensional representation of
the two dimensional...
meatwad.
he probably weighed... 8lbs.
i was walking blocks and blocks through some of
the hardest territory in savannah georgia.
when he walked up to me out of the blue...
as of recently there have been
3 rapes ONE of which was on scad's campus
during daylight hours. kidnappings/rapes.
someone was recently mugged...
... and i was standing here with a meatwad
scultpure i was doing for class. nearly crapping
my all-to-tight jeans.
(which means that crap doesn't sink to the
pantlegs... but gets caught in the pocket
and festers)
"GIVE ME THE @#$@$king @#$#@-A$#@$
chicken!!!!"
and i was traumitized.
"this thing?"
i asked lifting up my pathetic sculpture to
my would-be mugger.
"it's made out of clay, it's going to taste
terrible"
"give me the god-#@$@#$#@ chicken"
"well i have a dollar on me, you can have
that...."
*tension was seeping through the air...
i knew that i would either have to run...
... or hit him with this 8lb statue...
... and possibly get an F on the project*

i shook it.
he said: "hey, i'm just joking with you man,
i wasn't wanting the money, but i'll take it
anyway"
so i dug into my nearly soiled pants and
took out 5 quarters and gave it to him.
he said thanks, told me a story about how he
went to his job and nobody was there... and
he was off.
good story huh?
haha well that's about it.
OH i saw kingdom of heaven the other day.
it was pretty good. not GREAT. but good.
well... it may have been... just okay...
well this is going to be a summer of blockbusters
folks... seriously. not since 1999 has there been
so many blockbuster movies coming out within
a 4month period.

not that he's my favorite character.
but he's definately my favorite actor

STAR WARS: revenge of the SITH
not that it's going to be the GREATEST
movie of the summer... on any level.
but it will definately be a blockbuster
and a must-see.
CHARLIE and the chocolate FACTORY
johnny depp. AND tim burton.
who could say no to this?
a darker, a greater film.

the lovely for girls
ewan mcgregor.
overall though... i think this has definately
been thee greatest post-oscar movie
era in quite some time.

HITCHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALLAXY
MELINDA & MELINDA
CRASH
... and many more that i am unaware of...
have definately made it advantageous for
me to be working at a theatre where i am
able to see such fantastic movies for FREE.
