Gobsmacked and totally gonna be poor :(
Ok so last week the pain of my tooth became too much for me to take anymore, so took Friday off work and headed to Kerry to my Dentist to see if he could solve this nagging problem. He informed me for the price of €40 and 5 minutes chatting and two minutes looking at my teeth that I have a few fillings to get and that my wisdom tooth out! So €40 to tell me something I had already figured out...
Then he gave me the number of a dentist I have to go to in Tralee to get this out, so have just talked to this dentist on the phone and guess what he needs to do a consultation to again tell me that I need this tooth out and do an X-Ray, this X-Ray is going to cost €52 just for the X-Ray, and here is the gobsmacking bit, its gonna cost €120 just for the consultation, so altogether for two dentists to actually tell me yep it needs to come out its gonna cost me €212, god only knows how much it is then gonna cost to get this thing out. Don't even know at this rate if i'll be able to afford to have the tooth out with the amount it is costing me to get them to decide it should come out!
