I didn't even know this thing could still be active

So a little over a year ago...a few post down, I announced the name of my new band. It's since gone from a full group to a solo project back to a full group and we're now in the studio (and out of money). Hopefully, we'll be done by the end of september. It seems to be endlessly dragged out. It is a full length record I will probably name after the 14th century poetic, "The Lady is Not For Burning". Mostly because I think that's an amazing title haha.

In other news, I went to church for the first time in quite a while. Still the same old assholes so somethings don't change. Oh well; the service was still good.

I miss my girlfriend a lot, but that tends to happen when you date someone that lives 3000 miles away. How did we meet you ask? Essentially, mysapce...like any normal 2006 couple would meet. And let me tell you, midwest people...worlds different than southern cal folk. It's a real trip traveling between LAX and MKE. Sometimes I lay-over in the twin cities (st.paul, minn.) and chat with the people at the airport bars. You get some real freaks in those places. Mostly business people so full of bullshit their breath smells like a sewer but hey, I'm from So.Cal; I'm used to it. Sometimes when I'm on the plane and I make friends with the people in the seat next to me, I catch myself just making up completely false accounts of who I am and what I do just to break the bordom. I've told people that I'm a Kung Fu expert that co-trains fighters in Wisconsin for the UFC. Sometimes I work for the government inspecting competing cheese markets between california and wisconsin. Other times I tell people that I'm one of those professional hotdog eaters but run in the brat circuit instead. I just bought a bbq and have been living off brats for the last week, so it's really not that much of a departure.

Well that was fun.
