i like to think of myself as a nice person. i like to do things day in and day out that make other people's lives a little bit easier, whether they realize it or not. being recognized isn't the payoff, it's more like what goes around comes around. and yet i find myself increasingly surrounded by people that i love and yet sometimes i cant but help of thinking of as selfish. and that hurts me. we'll see.
