No Matter How Much I liked the Character, I'm Not Naming My Kid, "Hoban"
For those of you wondering, I'm not even having a kid. But when I do decide to start spawning someday, I'm not even entertaining the name.
The title is in reference, however, to the fantastic film out on DVD yesterday, Serenity. Man I love this flick. Almost as much as Empire. Which is 2nd in my view to Dr. Strangelove. And the beautiful and wonderful catt5 got it for me for X-mas!!! Best gift EVAR!!! (Well other than cheesecake and a blowjob, but that should be obvious.) Thank you, my love! And thanks for all the other things you did over here. I see 'em.
Going to my sister's for X-mas Eve this year. I get to go over and cook. Because atheists are abused like that since we don't go to church. Although it is sickly satisfying to see Christ finally being removed from the focus of the solstice celebration.

And more happy religious news, the psychotic fanatics who were pursuing on pushing their faith in science classes were struck down in Dover as breathtakingly inane. Seriously. From the AP... U.S. District Judge John E. Jones criticized the ``breathtaking inanity'' of the 2004 decision by the Dover Area School Board to insert intelligent design into the science curriculum. He called the concept ``a religious view, a mere re-labeling of creationism'' and said the board's policy violated the constitutional separation of church and state. Intelligent design holds that living organisms are so complex that they must have been created by some kind of higher being.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Though I think I have said it more frequently...
