I am currently studying at Johnson & Wales University for a bachelor’s degree in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management. As a meticulous and dependable hospitality professional with more than six years of related experience, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member in the hospitality industry.
I am currently interested in managing Gaming Operations and am familiar about casino properties, financial management, organizational structure, gaming terminology, casino design, and special emphasis on casino marketing. I understand all gaming regulations and licensing for casino resorts.
With a minor in Beverage Service Management I have comprehensive study of wines including daily wine tastings, mixology management including cocktail recipe creation, creation of wine lists and beer list menus, production methods, cost analysis and merchandising. As well as learning the concepts of identification target markets and creating a bar business. Furthermore learning how to create business plans, bar layout and operations, trend identification and product selections, costing and pricing and inventory methods. I will also be receiving the International School of Mixology Bartending Certificate and already am certified through the South Beach Bartending School Company with my bartending license.
I have also thoroughly studied many Event Management courses involving practical experience in developing trade shows with emphasis on pre-planning, budget preparation, advertising and public relations. I am fully aware of all cultural, political, legal, and economic forces and their impacts on tourism and how hospitality management practices differ in many countries. I am profound in social and professional business etiquette and of the event protocol such as the order of precedence for governmental, military, and social organizations. I also understand the business dynamics for managing ancillary services and revenues.
