Im going to Austin tonight to see some bands play. Woot.
We got some pretty exciting news today. The guy we are recording our EP with, Mike, sent us some info about a guy who is looking to book bands up in Dallas. This guy, Scott, is a pretty tight promoter and books a lot of bands at The Upper Room and Cafe sumthing in Dallas. Scott also has the hookups for radio opportunities. Nathan asked me to call him today, so I did and we had a great little chat. As soon as the EP is out, we are sending him our EP and some band photo's. We are basically a shoe in. Goodbye small time, hello Dallas. It feels good to know that our future show opportunities rest in more than one place. Houston is good, but we are aching to expand; and expand we shall be doing. No place better to start than Dallas.
