48. Revelation
"What was that for?" Harry asked, once he could talk again.

"Can't I kiss you if you want?" Sarah's manner was worryingly flirty.

He had all sorts of answers to her question, but the fact of the matter was that he didn't think Sarah ever wanted to kiss him. Kick him, perhaps, but not kiss him. "Why do you want to?"

"Oh, Harry." She sighed. "The only thing I know I like about my life at the moment is you. So will you please just kiss me again?"

When she asked so nicely it would be bad manners to refuse.

Temperance
Harry didn't know what Sarah saw in these people. Although they were charming, it was only on the surface and he didn't like it one bit. But these were Sarah's friends, or people she needed to befriend for the benefit of her career, so he kept quiet and let her hang on to his arm.

"You're a breath of fresh air among these vultures," she commented once they'd escaped.

"So that's why you asked me to be your date for the evening." He had wondered, but not questioned.

She smiled. "And I know you have my best interests at heart."

12. Chastity
"So what benefits does being 'friends with benefits' actually mean?"

Sarah looked at him with an incredulous expression. "Well, sex. Obviously"

Harry was hoping for a bit more than that. "That's it?"

"And you'd be friends still." she shrugged.

"What if I want more than that?" Sarah might be happy with having sex outside of a relationship, but Harry wasn't.

"Sorry, Harry," she said softly.

"Then I'll take just friends. You'll have to get your benefits elsewhere."

"I didn't think you'd go for it, but it was worth a try."

He smiled. "I can't blame you for trying, old girl."

14. Charity
"I don't know how you do it." Sarah sighed.

Harry frowned. "Do what?"

"Spend every day in the same place and same time, doing the same things. Don't you get bored?"

He shook his head. "I know it's not as exciting as travelling with the Doctor, but you can't wait for him forever."

"I know, I just want...." She threw her arms up in the air and back down again. "I don't know what I want."

"Let's start with dinner," he suggested. "And then job hunting."

She smiled and linked her arm with his. "Thank you. For looking after me."

45. The last time you were late
Although Harry rushed to the restaurant, when he arrived he found that Sarah was even later.

"Sorry," she said, without a hint of remorse, as she slipped into her seat. "I hope you haven't been waiting long."

Harry's answer would be the same, whether he had or not. "Of course not, old girl."

"Don't call me old girl." But she let him pour the wine.

"So why were you late?"

"Never you mind." She grinned, which made him think he didn't want to know. "Why were you late?"

He ducked his head. He should have known he couldn't fool her.
