How important is love to your muse? Are they the type of person who uses and abuses only to cast others away like toys when they are tired of them? Are they looking for their soulmate in life, or have they already found them? It's your turn to talk about love.

Love is important to Harry, although he wouldn't put it that way. He always assumed that one day he would get married and have children, as you do, and to marry someone you have to love them.

He falls in love quite easily. For him there's not really any in between point of fancying someone, he either loves them or he doesn't (or he does and hasn't admitted it yet). Falling out of love is much harder.

His first girlfriend was Esther Bland and they had quite a short relationship. It was probably less than a year that they knew each other and by the end of it Harry was thinking of marriage, even if he hadn't worked out the courage for it. From his perspective, there's no point in seeing someone if it isn't going to end in marriage. However, in that case, when they got together they knew he was due to leave and move to the other end of the country, so that probably hastened things a bit. But even years later he never quite manages to stop caring for her.

That's a pattern that's repeated with successive women.
