I really hate this whole "it's trendy to be Atheist" thing that's going on. Because people really have no idea what they're talking about. Fucking morons are confusing "not believing in god*" with "believing in no god." Really think about it, you fucking morons. Do you specifically believe that there is no higher power, none. Are you as certain that there isn't a God, as those "religious nuts" who are certain there is a god? Because that is Atheism. Someone who is deeply religious doesn't doubt that there is a god, being atheist is being just as positive that Zie doesn't exist in any way, shape, or form.
Not believing in god is agnosticism. If you personally don't hold that there is a god, but you aren't positive, 100% FUCKING SURE, that isn't atheism!!! Ironically, Atheism is just as much a theism as Islam, Judaism, or Christianity. It is belief without proof. Because while you claim there is no proof for god, I argue that there is no proof that there isn't some kind of god, so you're "logical" choice of Atheism is stupid, and my logical choice of "agnosticism" is much more logical.... You know, that whole absence of proof is not a proof of absence thing?
I personally could see there being something out there just as easily as I could see there being nothing. I think that living life assuming there isn't something out there is better. Live to treat people well. Live to make this life here as good for you and everyone as possible, and honestly I think that what ever's out there (should there be something) will appreciate that more than you being a dick to everyone for the sake of Hir name. And if Zie doesn't? What the fuck kind of god is that? "My first commandment is thus: Being a terrible person to everyone who doesn't share the same views as you and you shall be rewarded!" Why would you want to live like that? Humans's first allegiance is to other humans. We are all in this together, why the fuck should we divide ourselves?
