JEEZUS IT'S AN ENTRY EVERYONE GET IN THE CAR
Hey journal! I'm bored, have a meme! (Let's just skip right over the fact that I haven't been on here in about a year, yeah?)
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
Crossword puzzle, dreamcatcher, really trippy waterfall-into-outer-space poster, tin whistle, and first DVD of Big Windup.
2. How do you style your hair?
I like leaving it down or half up-half down most days since at work it has to be up, up, UP, not a bit of it touching your face or neck UP!
3. What are you wearing now?
Cargo pants, t-shirt, and some awesome socks. (They've got a picture of a rock and a ruler with the rock saying, "You rule!" and the ruler, "You rock!" ...Get it, get it??)
4. What's your occupation?
Waitress supreme and middle school flute teacher. But, you know, hopefully not forever.
5. What do you hear right now?
Never wanna stop....It's gotta be yooouuu, uh-huh, uh-huh, yeeeaah, it's gotta be you, uh-huh, uh-huh (It's by either Backstreet Boys or NSync, but hell if I can remember which one)
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
My co-worker, to say goodnight.
7. What are you thinking about right now?
My arms are hurting from typing at the desk, but I don't want to be lazy and sit in bed... (INDECISION)
8. What did you do today?
Ah, let's see (skipping over the things that aren't interesting) I practiced, went to rehearsal, ate dinner, and wrote a passage for my book. Not too bad, but not really what I needed to do.
9. Dog person or cat person?
I love animals, but cats are best to own. They take of themselves, they can be really sweet and give you personal space and they don't smell or drool or anything gross except maybe mark. But since that's just male cats, if you have a female you're golden.
10. If you came across $2,000 (or other currency) would you keep it or turn it in?
I'm not sure where you would turn in currency, especially if it wasn't in a wallet or something, but if I picked it up I'd definitely try to. Then again, it would freak me out to find that much lying around, so I'd probably just leave it alone anyway.
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
Not counting food, uuhhhh...a headset/microphone combination. I'm so gangsta with that thing on, makes me want to play an RPG or something.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Besides everywhere? ...Probably New Zealand or Australia. English-speaking and really foreign landscapes and wildlife. Good times.
13. Where do you see yourself in five minutes?
On the computer. Probably finishing this entry. Jeez, and how fast do you type?
14. Last book you've read?
The Phantom of the Opera. I wanted to see the source material for the musical, but gah! am I ever glad Andrew Lloyd Webber changed it up a bit. If I had to listen to one more heartfelt, every-time-she-so-much-as-breathes-I-die-a-little-inside-cause-she's-soooo-perfect monologue from Raoul... Let's just say it wouldn't have been pretty.
15. What was the last movie you saw?
School of Rock probably. As much as I dislike Jack Black in general, that movie is tons of fun and always, always gets me listening to tons of classic rock.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
Well, besides flute... I'd probably be a percussionist. I always thought it would tons of fun. Hard work, but fun.
17. Favourite word?
Labyrinth. It's just soo...appropriate. But the words I say too much are "ridiculous" and "hilarious", especially when I'm hyper or have been drinking.
18. What is one thing about you most people don't know?
I believe in a lot of obsolete things. Like unicorns, some myths, ghosts, you know, things that most people scoff at. This is probably why people don't know this about me.
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Getting a steady job and finally settling down. I can't wait to breathe that sigh of relief and say, "Yeah. I can deal with this."
20. Did you replace many questions?
Oops, didn't read that rule, so no. But I wouldn't have anyway, not feeling too creative right now.
