Curse Saint Valentine and all his descendants! Curse this annoying modern society that destroys the meaning of every single holiday by blowing it way out of proportion with commercial 'opportunities'! Urgh...basically, if you don't have a significant other, you're doomed to be miserable on Valentine's Day. And all the days in February (and even some in January) that precede it. Not that I can blame all those people who are really happy with their romantic lives. Heck, if I had a boyfriend, I'd be annoyingly cheerful on Valentine's Day too. But does that mean you have to rub in the faces of those who don't? Grrr...*shakes fist at passing couple* So the only thing I like about Valentine's is the pink cookies because there's just something about a blob of pink icing that's just so delicious! Yum!
