I think it's amazing how fast news travels. Seriously, think about it...
I don't mean how quickly one can find out that Hillary Clinton's opponents are beginning a "How Can We Stop Her?" kind of campaign, or how Brittany Spears really could be pregnant, or that smoking can and will kill anyone that comes in contact with it. I mean the stuff where every single person in my hall will know what is for dinner in the cafeteria when only two have eaten in it so far that evening. I mean how everyone in the entire Jewish community knows that my family adopted three kids about two years ago (granted, that was the cover of the Jewish news this past winter, but seriously, even people who aren't Jewish have read that article!). I mean how despite the fact that I couldn't keep my mouth shut to my roommate any longer, despite how only three pairs of ears heard my words other than my own, my quote verbatim has SPREAD. Oh well about the last part...
I wonder how I'm going to manage to get Dana's brother and friend to take down my loft if she can't speak to me long enough to coordinate that...yeah...I'm going to end up calling the same guys that built it to take it down - but I'm keeping the lumber. Yea for verbal agreements - Dana gets the carpet and I get the loft. I think I got the better end of the deal, but that's my own opinion...
Strange how an epiphany turned into a series of sentences about my roommate - ah well, got nothing to lose, and I'm looking very forward to living with Hanna next year.
