New Update
Ok, so this isn't a quiz or a good story taken from someone else's journal. The following is going to be an actual entry since I haven't written one of those in a while:
I have an apartment for next year!! My roommate Hanna and I have signed the lease and paid the security deposit and all of that fun stuff! The layout is interesting, but awesome and we're already making plans to put vanilla candles everywhere and buy Honey Nut Cheerios if they're on sale and whoa I'm so not cool right now...
But we have the apartment set up, my parents are cool with the cost for rent and we're very happy with it. I am a little nervous to take that next step into adulthood by living on my own and having my own place, but I'm also ready for it - I want my own kitchen! We both wish we could move in now, but we have to wait another ten months before moving in. :(
On another subject, I had lunch with an old friend from elementary/middle school today. Even though we rarely hang out anymore, we still have a long history together and our friendship has changed for the better when we do see each other so it was fun. I don't always agree with what she does but I can also relate to her on a new level concerning something else. No, I won't be specific, this is a journal but a public one, so don't ask what.
To completely change direction, I'm really excited for Aaron to come up to Traverse City with my family for Thanksgiving! My dad invited his parents, but they can't come, so Aaron is coming on his own. Almost five whole days - it's more time together than when I went down to visit him, so that's good. I just miss him.
On the whole, things are going good.
