"Well, I'll talk with Joanne about it, because ablakdgha kdfhgakdfg"

I laughed so hard when I read that because I pictured the guy trying to say jibberish >:D

I've had days like that too, they totally suck! Before I was a manager I refused to sell these 10 year old kids movie tickets because they were vandalizing the property by tearing down movie promotions inside the building, making fun of one of my coworkers, stealing box office equipment (pencils, stapler, tape dispenser, etc). So they get their mommy on their fancy cell phones (10 year old kids with cell phones!) she comes and tells me I'm a terrible employee for not selling tickets. I told her what the kids were doing and she asked if I had proof. Hell yes I had proof, I had a crying coworker in the box with me and ALL the employees working inside (there was at least 6 of them) who saw them tearing down movie promotions. She asked to speak with the manager and all he did was stand there as she yelled at me and called me a "stupid bitch". I'm like, "Um hello?! Your kids are VANDALIZING, STEALING, and DISRESPECTING our employees and property! I don't have to sell them tickets if I don't want to, it says so right here." And I pointed to the "Private Property" sign that was right next to her.

She spoke with a different manager who just allowed her to yell at him and then I had to write down my account of everything because she threatened to call the home office. Haha, how would that letter go?
"Dear Home Office of GTC,
Your employees refused to sell my perfect angel-children tickets because they were vandalizing your property, stealing your property, and making fun of your employees. That is unacceptable! I am an uppity soccer mom with three children from three different men and a low in-come until I married my rich lawyer husband who is cheating on me with his secretary Denise and I demand some free movie tickets!"

Yeah...

I'm glad your coworkers stood up for you! Its rediculous that your manager person wouldn't stand up for you. I'm a manager and when I see my employees fucking up, I never tell them they've fucked up infront of customers because I don't want to embarrass them like that. If a customer is giving them a hard time, we'll try to accommodatethem but we're pretty firm on the "the customer is usually wrong" philosophy.

Anyway, sorry for ranting!!!!111one
