I'm back stateside!!
I'm trying to figure out how to upload pics and get an online account of some sort. I'm at DQ 24/7 of course, tomorrow is my first day off (so I worked 3 days in a row...but I've only been in this country for four!! That's 75% of my summer in Roseville so far!). I'm helping the rents out in the yard at our new house which is cool, hopefully we'll have the bonfire pit in by next week when peeps come over for Rosefest. I'm thinking about running in the "Run for the Roses" deal. I think I can do 5K...I THINK... In other news, I have a bunch of NEW students and a few returning. OK so mainly returning, but I raised my rates so I'm getting a sweet ass deal. The viola Alta gave me for the summer sounds like its made out of cardboard. Sigh. Well, I'm planning on trying to get my own soon anyways. I sightread the Stamitz viola concerto I'd like to learn this summer and the hardest thing about it is holding up the damn thing for the whole piece. I can totally pose as a violist. Orch. camp starts monday, I had a meeting with Alta and Chris *cough-still hot-cough* today and I'm excited for it. Apparently our numbers are down though, so we're all kinda freaking out that they'll need to cut a teacher. Hmmmm....lets see....girl without a license? CANNED Well, we'll just have to see if we figure something else out which we should be able to do. So much to say! Well, I'm hungry and some microwave kettle corn is calling my name. Later!
